California native, Preston Taylor, began exploring his interest in web marketing in 1993 while collaborating with a Russian programming team to market digital, downloadable desktop software to a worldwide audience.

Based upon experience gained from establishing a web marketing strategy for software sales, Online-Promotion.Net emerged in 1995 as one of the world's first Search Engine Optimization companies.

Preston Taylor lives just northeast of California's Silicon Valley in the community of Alamo, CA and maintains an office in downtown Oakland.

Active in community affairs, Preston Taylor is co-founder of SOBO Merchants Association (South of Broadway, Oakland), and has served as Board member and past President of Alamo Improvement Association (governmental advisory board, Alamo, CA) since 1995.
